How Switchday protects your records
Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Messages and records are access-controlled at the database level — only you and your co-parent can read them. Unlike most co-parenting apps, Switchday maintains a tamper-evident audit log of every record change — making any tampering immediately detectable.
The integrity system is built on open, auditable standards — not proprietary claims.
Each record is SHA-256 hashed at creation and independently timestamped via RFC 3161. Whether this is sufficient for your jurisdiction's evidentiary requirements depends on the court, the judge, and how it's presented.
